Are You a Christian ?

Wow! Hard to believe it is April already, this new year is flying by on us. God blessed us with many new faces for our Easter services. We had 75 in attendance at our Easter egg hunt and 109 in attendance at our morning worship service. We serve an awesome God and He continues to bless our little church in so many ways. We are looking forward to more great fellowship opportunities at Concord throughout 2018. Keep a close eye on our Facebook page and the calender on this website for what is in store for you.

The weathered shell of our new fellowship hall/community center is complete. Mr. Allen Graber and his crew from Quality Construction did an amazing job on this phase of our building project. We have now started the finishing phases inside the building and our goal is to complete the entire project debt free. Mr. Gary Hitchcock and his crew are working on the first phase of the HVAC system and should be completed by mid April. Mr. Tony Fuller of Price Electric is giving us guidance on the lighting and materials needed to complete all the electrical phase for the entire building. We hope to have the majority of the electrical phase completed by the end of April. God has put so many talented folks in our path as we work to efficiently and cost effectively complete the inside of our new building. This new facility is going to have such a ministry impact and expanded outreach in our community.

Our first goal is to use the new building for VBS this year and have it totally completed by the end of September for our 165th Homecoming Service. I want to again thank all the generous donations to date and I know God is doing a great work here at Concord. We invite you to come visit and grow with us this exciting new year. Our vision is to be a mission minded Church reaching out to others with the love of God. We give God all the glory for the great things He has done!

We are truly blessed to be pastoring such an amazing little Church that is full of people with servant's hearts and the desire to help change lives around them. I believe in my heart that God is going to blow us away this year with more amazing new growth. Our goal is to be an outreach in our community to keep reaching one more for His Kingdom. Always be ready to tell someone about the hope you have in Jesus and don't miss an opportunity to share His love! Have a very blessed week!

Love you all,

Pastor Craig

I am going to leave the message points from "Let Go and Let God" posted here on the welcome page, as we all need to let God have His way in our lives on a daily basis. God poured out his blessings on the Church in  Acts 2:41-47 and He wants to do the same for us today! The four steps we must take as believers to "Let Go and Let God" are the following:

1) Claim Our Power (Acts 1:8)

2) Accept Our Mission (Matthew 28:19)

3) Unite in Love (Matthew 22:37-40)

4) Focus on Our Purpose (Romans 8:28)

That same God that saved 3,000 souls on the Day of Pentecost is the same God we serve today! We must unite together as a Church and Impact the world around us for the glory of God! Start each morning by saying, "Lord, What would you have me to do?"   When we have a T.G.I.F. day (Today God is First), we truly "Let Go and Let God"!

Folks are truly excited about the growth and vision God has placed upon our hearts. We come to Church for one purpose and that is to worship God and experience His amazing love as He changes lives each service.

Wednesday nights we continue the great time of fellowship in our weekly Bible study. We are currently starting chapter 3 in our study of the Book of Romans. Romans is an amazing book to guide us as believers and clearly point the need of Jesus as our Savior. I invite you to join us on Wednesday nights at 7:00 p.m.

I also want to invite those in the community who do not have a Church home to come and grow with us. I feel God has led  us to be a Church that everyone is invited to come as you are and allow God to make a difference in your life! Too many times we want to judge people because they are different than us and that is not what God wants for His Church. Hope to see you real soon at one of our morning services at 10:30 a.m. I believe you will enjoy our worship services and quickly feel you are part of our church family!

Please continue to pray for the Church and our staff as we reach out to the community with the Gospel and love of Jesus Christ. Remember if you don't have a Church home, you have a family waiting for you to join us here at Concord General Baptist. I hope to see you at one of our services in the near future. Have a blessed week in the Lord!
